Ted Willich
Ted Willich is Co-Founder/CEO of NLP Logix, an artificial intelligence/machine learning solutions company. Founded in 2011, NLP Logix has developed a proprietary machine learning tool kit, which allows it to rapidly develop and deploy automation solutions for its clients. NLP Logix currently has over 30 clients across diverse industries including: healthcare, debt collection, staffing, agriculture, defense, energy and transportation. The company was listed in the Inc.5000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the US. Previous to NLP Logix, Ted was co-founder and COO of a start-up that grew from zero to over $100 million in annual revenues over the course of 15 years. Prior to starting a career in business, Ted served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps. Ted and his wife Julie reside on Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and have been married 31 years and have three grown children.
Laura Neuenschwander
Laura Neuenschwander is the Senior Director of Global Inclusion and Diversity and Equity at Medtronic. In this role she is focused on creating programs, policies and processes to drive gender & ethnic equity at Medtronic. She has more than 25 years of experience in HR, marketing, and the medical device industry. In 2000, Laura and her husband founded a non-profit organization, Tix for Tots, which has given away over 500,000 tickets to children-in-need in the Twin Cities area. She has also served on the board for Empower Leadership Academy for girls and currently sits on the advisory board for Linkage’s Women In Leadership. Laura has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Speech from St. Cloud State University and a master’s degree in business from the University of St. Thomas. She and her husband have three children, Charlie, (17), Maya (17) and Lauren (14) and spend the bulk of their spare time keeping up with their busy teenager schedules.
Fred Goldstein
Fred Goldstein is the founder and president of Accountable Health, LLC, a healthcare consulting firm focused on population health. He has over 30 years of experience in population health, disease management, HMO and hospital operations. He is a member of the Graduate Faculty of the John D. Bower School of Population Health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the editorial Board of the journal Population Health Management, and the Best Practices Review Panel for the Institute for Medicaid Innovation. Fred co-founded and serves as a judge for the Health Value Awards and is Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Population Health Alliance. He received his MS in Health Care Administration from Trinity University and a BA in Zoology from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jeff Gaus
Jeff Gaus is the Founder of the Oregon Blockchain Venture Studio (OBVS) which is establishing Oregon’s prominence in this emerging technology.Additionally, Jeff serves as the Board Chair for Young Entrepreneurs Business Week (YEBW) whose mission is: to educate and inspire the next generation of business leaders. Jeff is a seasoned technology executive having served as the CEO of Prolifiq Software, VP Marketing for eFusion, and Executive Director Healthcare, Education and Government for NEC. Jeff completed his education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Marketing and post-graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business.
Ceth Ashen, Ph.D.
Ceth Ashen, Ph.D., serves as a lead trainer on the Professional Development team for PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Ashen consults for non-profit mental health agencies in California, where she provides treatment, supervision, and training in multiple evidence-based practices. She also collaborates with agency management regarding contracts, research/funding grants, and quality improvement for programs. Dr. Ashen holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. She earned her B.A. at Pitzer College. A central goal of her work is to improve mental health program efficacy and service delivery through the implementation and integration of evidence-based practice.
Kimberly Becker, Ph.D.
Kimberly Becker, Ph.D., serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Becker is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Becker received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Arizona following her undergraduate studies at the College of William & Mary. Her research has focused on family engagement, evidence-based clinical decision-making, and school-based services.
Adam Bernstein, Ph.D.
Adam Bernstein, Ph.D., is a Senior Consultant for PracticeWise, LLC, providing leadership for the Services and Products Development teams and serving as a lead trainer. Adam holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and received a coterminal B.A. in computer science and M.A. in psychology from Stanford University. His research has focused on helping service systems inform selection of evidence-based treatments to benefit as many youths and families as possible in their unique local service populations.
Ari Blum, MSW
Ari Blum, MSW, LCSW-C, serves as a lead trainer on the Professional Development team for PracticeWise, LLC. Ari Blum also works for the Baltimore County Department of Health and Human Services as the Chief of the Bureau of Behavioral Health. Ari has an interest in the implementation of evidence-based practices for youth and families. He received his master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Additionally, Ari maintains a private practice where he works with children and families and was an adjunct faculty for the University of Maryland, School of Social Work and Stevenson University.
Teri Bourdeau, Ph.D.
Teri Bourdeau, Ph.D., ABPP, is Senior Consultant for PracticeWise, LLC, and serves on the Services and Products teams. Dr. Bourdeau received her B.A. in psychology and her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Tulsa. She completed a psychology internship in the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University Medical School and a pediatric and clinical psychology postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Bourdeau was an Associate Professor of Behavioral Sciences at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and also engaged in private practice prior to assuming her current position with PracticeWise.
Alexandra Burgess, Ph.D.
Alexandra Burgess, Ph.D., serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC as an literature coder and treatment family coder. Dr. Burgess earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Worcester State University. Her research interests include childhood perfectionism, youth anxiety disorder assessment and treatment, and the intersection of mental health with experiences of inequality and systems of oppression.
Rebbeka Carmona
Rebbeka Carmona is a Database and Learning Coordinator for PracticeWise, LLC. Rebbeka completed her B.A. in psychology at The University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently completing an M.S. in counseling at California State University, Fullerton. She has previously worked in research labs where she engaged in community mental health research for ethnic and racial minority individuals.
Bruce F. Chorpita, Ph.D.
Bruce Chorpita, Ph.D., is the President of PracticeWise, LLC. He has worked in multiple academic and government leadership positions related to children’s mental health and practice improvement. Dr. Chorpita currently holds the position of Professor of Psychology, at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. Dr. Chorpita is widely published in the areas of children's mental health services, and he has held research and training grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, the Hawaii Departments of Education and Health, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the William T. Grant Foundation. He founded PracticeWise out of a commitment to making knowledge and science work better to improve the lives of children and families.
Taya Cromley, Ph.D.
Taya Cromley, Ph.D., serves on the Services and Products Development and Professional Development teams. She currently works as an independent consultant, focusing on the integration of behavioral health in primary care. Dr. Cromley was previously an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and served as a subject matter expert in the implementation of evidence-based practice within the military health system. She was the co-director of the Child STEPs Project and completed her postdoctoral work at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Cromley received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Northwestern University and completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University.
David Daleiden, MBA
David Daleiden, MBA, is the Vice President of Finance and Operations for PracticeWise, LLC, and serves on the Executive Management team. David has been working with PracticeWise since 2007 in various administrative and financial roles. He currently handles all financial and accounting functions. David has his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Loyola Chicago.
Eric L. Daleiden, Ph.D.
Eric Daleiden, Ph.D., is a founder and partner of PracticeWise, LLC. He has worked extensively in strategic and operational management and has held leadership positions in the academy, government, and the private sector. Along with Bruce Chorpita, Ph.D., he is the chief architect of the PracticeWise products and services. Eric holds a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University and has published numerous scientific papers and technical reports. His personal mission is to improve the lives of youth and families through better understanding and delivery of behavioral health services.
Halina Dour, Ph.D.
Halina Dour, Ph.D., is a literature coder at PracticeWise, LLC, and is the owner of The Center for Genuine Growth, PLLC - a multi-state telehealth psychotherapy practice. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she also spent a year engaging in research projects as a graduate student in the Child FIRST Lab. Prior to her graduate studies, Halina received her B.A. from Wellesley College. Halina's clinical and research interests are in treatment development.
Chad Ebesutani, Ph.D.
Chad Ebesutani, Ph.D., serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. Chad holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and previously received an M.A. in clinical psychology from the University of Hawaii and a B.S. in psychology from Brown University. He is a former professor in the Psychology Department at Duksung Women's University in Seoul, South Korea and the Founder and Director of the Seoul Counseling Center. His research focuses on the provision and implementation of evidence-based practices for youth mental health systems, with a particular emphasis on evidence-based assessment.
Jennifer Gamarra, Ph.D.
Jennifer Gamarra, Ph.D., serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on mental health literacy and understanding ways to increase consumer knowledge about evidence-based treatments and services. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the UCLA Child and Adolescents Mood Disorders Program (CHAMP).
Hilary M. Gould, Ph.D.
Hilary M. Gould, PhD, serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC and is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. She received her Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles and completed a respecialization program in clinical psychology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She works in the Community Psychiatry Program at UC San Diego where she supports training and supervision in community settings.
Karen Guan, Ph.D.
Karen Guan, Ph.D. serves on the Professional Development and Services and Products Development teams at PracticeWise, LLC. Karen is a licensed clinical psychologist focused on improving healthcare quality for underserved consumers. As Director of Learning at Pacific Clinics, she oversees internal learning needs for 2,000+ employees at California's largest non-profit behavioral health agency, including the MAP-based Clinical Foundations program. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Charmaine Higa-McMillan, Ph.D.
Charmaine Higa-McMillan, Ph.D., is a lead trainer and consultant on the Professional Development team and also serves on the Services and Products Development and Special Projects teams at PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Higa-McMillan is currently a professor at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Tulsa following her undergraduate studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Her interests include implementation of evidence-based services, training and professional development, and improving access to quality care in rural, underserved schools and communities.
Aparajita Kuriyan, Ph.D.
Aparajita (Tuma) Kuriyan, Ph.D., is a Data Scientist and Training Professional for PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Kuriyan completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Florida International University and her internship at Citrus Health Network. She specialized in child psychology during post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She received her B.A. in Psychology and English at the University of Rochester. Prior to her position at PracticeWise, she was a faculty member at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her research focused on bringing evidence-based treatments to community settings (e.g. schools) and on engaging families in youth mental health.
Michelle C. Levy, Ph.D.
Michelle C. Levy, Ph.D., serves on the Professional Development team at PracticeWise, LLC, as a consultant and associate trainer and serves on the Services and Products Development team. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles, as a co-director of the Child STEPs Project focused on youth mental health. Dr. Levy received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Purdue University and completed internship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. Her research and clinical interests focus on parenting practices, child anxiety and the treatment of trauma in youth. She currently works with children, families and adults in a private practice setting.
Allison R. Love, Ph.D.
Allison R. Love, Ph.D., is a Training Professional for PracticeWise, LLC, and serves on the Professional Development and Services and Product Development teams. Dr. Love obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa, and a B.S. in psychology from the College of Charleston. She pursued predoctoral internship and postdoctoral training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, and completed an additional postdoctoral year as a Harvard Medical Fellow at Judge Baker Children’s Center. Dr. Love’s clinical and research interests center on implementation and quality improvement within systems of care, and empirically-based services for children and adolescents with a specific focus on trauma and disruptive behavior.
Alexander Lower, M.Ed.
Alexander Lower serves as a coder on the Services and Products Development Team at PracticeWise, LLC. He studied psychology and engineering design at Northwestern University and is teaching high school math after having completed his Master of Education at Xavier University. Alex's research interests include child psychopathology, social-emotional learning, and the development of broad-based prevention programs in schools. Alex is a counselor for Crisis Text Line and encourages anyone feeling in crisis to text 241-241 for support. Alex appreciates the exposure to current literature that PracticeWise offers and how the literature can inform and expand his own interests and perspectives.
Brad J. Nakamura, Ph.D.
Brad J. Nakamura, Ph.D., is a Services and Products Development team member at PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Nakamura currently is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM). Dr. Nakamura is also the co-director of the Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the UHM, a research, training, and therapy clinic. Currently he is also co-chair of the State of Hawaii Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division’s (CAMHD) Evidence-Based Services (EBS) Committee, an interdisciplinary network focused on promoting evidence-based practices.
Kelsie Okamura, Ph.D.
Kelsie Okamura, Ph.D., is an Associate Trainer and Consultant on the Professional Development team and also serves on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. Kelsie is currently an Implementation Researcher at the Baker Center for Children and Families, a Harvard Medical School affiliate. Kelsie earned her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her research focuses on implementation science, youth evidence-based treatments, and the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders for children.
Jennifer Regan, Ph.D.
Jennifer Regan, Ph.D., is on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She received her B.A. in psychology from Johns Hopkins University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently a Clinical Psychologist II in the Quality Improvement Division at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Her research focuses on improving systems of care through the use of evidence-based practices and data-driven decision making. She also continues to serve youth and families in her private practice, specializing in child and adolescent anxiety disorders.
Cheri Sofia
Cheri Sofia is the Administrative Support Coordinator at PracticeWise, LLC, and serves on the Admin Team. She was previously in nonprofit management in the field of maternal, infant, and child health. Cheri received her bachelor's degree in business management from Western Governors University and is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration.
Melissa Sovak, PsyD
Melissa Sovak, PsyD, is an independent consultant with PracticeWise, LLC. She is an outpatient psychologist and supervisor in the doctoral training program at Washburn Center for Children in Minneapolis, MN. Melissa is also a MAP Training Professional and provides trainings and consultation for the state of Minnesota. She completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2010. Melissa provides psychological testing and individual and family outpatient therapy services for children and adolescents. Melissa’s clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, and disruptive behaviors.

Cameo F. Stanick, Ph.D., serves on the Professional Development team at PracticeWise, LLC, as a lead trainer and consultant. Dr. Stanick is a licensed clinical psychologist and Vice President of Training and Implementation Practice at Sycamores in Los Angeles. Dr. Stanick received her Ph.D. from the University of Tulsa and was co-Director on the Child STEPs study. She was also an associate professor in the Psychology department at the University of Montana, where she is now affiliate faculty. Dr. Stanick’s research, clinical work, and consulting are focused on the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices for youth mental health, with particular emphasis on trauma exposure and traumatic stress in children and adolescents.
Taylor L. Thompson, Ph.D.
Taylor Thompson, Ph.D., serves as a distance learning developer and literature coder on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She is a licensed psychologist and is currently the Clinical Director of the Adult Learning Evaluation Center at Florida State University. She earned her M.A. from Wake Forest University and her Ph.D. in counseling psychology and school psychology from Florida State University. Dr. Thompson’s clinical interests include anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral disorders. Her research interests center on diverse youth, including Asian American adolescents, gifted and talented children, and college students with disabilities.
Janelle L. Wagner, Ph.D.
Janelle L. Wagner, PhD serves on the Professional Development Team as an Associate Trainer and Consultant for PracticeWise, LLC. She also contributes as a validator for PWEBS and develops distance learning modules and practice guides with the Services and Products Development Team. Dr. Wagner received her BA from Wake Forest University and her MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Oklahoma State University. Currently, Dr. Wagner holds the rank of Research Associate Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her research focuses on behavioral health and self-management in pediatric epilepsy. She has over 100 publications and serves on national and international epilepsy committees.
Tonya Wood, Ph.D.
Tonya Wood serves as professional consultant to PracticeWise, LLC. Dr. Wood is currently the Director of Clinical Training in the Psy.D. program at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. She also serves as clinical supervisor at the South Los Angeles Trauma Recovery Center. Dr. Wood earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Virginia. Throughout her career Dr. Wood has worked in a variety of academic, community and public sector settings with a particular focus on providing quality and effective services to marginalized populations. Dr. Wood’s specific clinical and research interests include reducing health disparities, cross-cultural issues in treatment, as well as supervision and professional development of trainees and staff.
Nichole Baker, M.A.
Nichole Baker, M.A. serves as a literature coder on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She is currently completing her PhD in School Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. Nichole's research interests center on the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based practices to underserved populations. Her dissertation focuses on optimizing the observational measurement of implementation fidelity for an evidence-based modular transdiagnostic treatments delivered in community care settings.
Amanda Bowling, M.A.
Amanda Bowling, M.A. serves as a literature validator on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She is currently a doctoral candidate in School Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her B.A. at the University of California, Berkeley in psychology and minors in English and education. Amanda’s research focuses on increasing the accessibility of evidence-based services to underserved youth, primarily through the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices in community settings.
Cynthia Brown, Ph.D.
Cynthia Brown, Ph.D. is an independent consultant with PracticeWise. She is an Assistant professor in the School of Graduate Psychology at Pacific University where also serves as Director of Clinical Training for the Applied Psychological Sciences Program. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas. Her research interests include the investigation of risk factors for aggressive and other disruptive behaviors in youths with autism spectrum disorder and the development and evaluation of family-based treatments for serious mental health problems, especially externalizing disorders, in children and adolescents.
Julia Revillion Cox, Ph.D.
Julia Revillion Cox, Ph.D., serves as a distance learning developer at PracticeWise, LLC. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Seattle University and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research and applied work center on expanding the availability of quality mental health treatments for children and families with a focus on clinical training and supervision. Dr. Cox is currently a Psychologist I with the UCLA Child OCD, Anxiety, & Tic Disorders Program where she is engaged primarily in program development and supervision.
Ashley Fabeck, M.A.
Ashley Fabeck is an independent consultant with PracticeWise, LLC. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and received her master’s degree from Pepperdine University. Ashley is a clinical coordinator with Pacific Clinics in Los Angeles and a lead trainer of their clinical foundations training series. Her clinical work during the past ten years has focused on helping children and their families within a community mental health setting. Ashley’s clinical interests include treatment of complex trauma, depression, and anxiety using evidence-based practices, specifically within the transitional age youth population.
Lauren Worley, LCSW
Lauren Worley, LCSW serves on the Professional Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. Lauren earned her MSW at the University of Southern California School of Social Work in 2012 and has been a mental health provider ever since. She is the owner of a private mental health practice in Montrose, CA. She primarily works with teens and young adults dealing with trauma and depression. She also specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ community, especially trans youth and young adults.
Sydney Pauling, M.A.
Sydney Pauling, M.A. serves as a literature validator on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the University of Texas at Austin. Sydney is highly interested in the various overarching systems that promote (or hinder) student access to evidence-based practices and programs, particularly pertaining to mental health. In the future, she hopes to facilitate partnerships between researchers and school systems, as she believes this is one strategy that can assist in bridging the gap and address issues of underrepresentation.
Emma Smith, M.S.
Emma Smith, M.S., is the Learning Coordinator at PracticeWise, LLC. She received her B.A. in psychology from Newberry College and her M.S. in forensic psychology from Arizona State University. Emma has previously worked for the state of South Carolina in health and human services. She has a passion for volunteering and reducing the stigma of mental health issues.
Sharon Gabrielson, BSN,M.A.
Sharon Gabrielson is the non-executive chair of the board of PracticeWise. She is founder and CEO of SRG Associates, LLC, an advisory firm focused on strategic planning and corporate governance. Sharon has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the health care sector including operational management, strategic planning, and commercialization of products and services. She holds a BSN from Winona State University, and a MA from Saint Mary's University. She has experience as an independent board director for both public and private companies.
Kristle Obi, M.S.
Kristle Obi is the Business Development Representative at PracticeWise, LLC. She received her B.S. in biology from Baylor University and her M.S. in biomedical sciences from the University of South Carolina. Kristle has over 5 years of experience in medical equipment sales. She has a passion for mental health, personal development and building relationships.
Monica Whitehead, Ph.D.
Monica Whitehead, Ph.D., serves as a literature coder on the Services and Products Development team at PracticeWise, LLC. She is currently employed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where she delivers short term, intensive therapy to youth with a variety of presenting concerns. She has a passion for disseminating evidence-based treatments and leading trainings for other professionals to increase access to quality care. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. Her clinical and research interests include anxiety disorders and OCD.
Patricia Nygaard, Ph.D.
Patricia Nygaard, Ph.D., is an independent consultant with PracticeWise, LLC. She is retired from the Minnesota Department of Human Services where she was most recently the Quality and Performance Manager in the Children’s Mental Health Division. In that capacity she was responsible for the oversight of several of the state’s efforts to improve the quality of mental health treatment and care for children across the state. She collaborated with PracticeWise for over 20 years to provide opportunities for training and consultation in evidence-based treatment to children’s mental health providers across the state of Minnesota. She continues to be dedicated to the promotion of evidence-based research and interventions.
Emily Olson
Emily Olson is a literature coder for PracticeWise, LLC. She is currently employed as a research coordinator at the San Francisco VA Medical Center. She is planning to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Gabby Lampe, MBA
Gabby Lampe, MBA, is the Marketing Manager for PracticeWise, LLC. Previously, she worked for Forest Institute of Professional Psychology and Missouri State University in the areas of community engagement, health and human services promotion, and advancement. Gabby received her BS in Marketing and MBA from Missouri State University.
Rebecca Jackson
Rebecca Jackson is the Project and Account Manager at PracticeWise, LLC. She earned her B.S from Ashford University in psychology. Rebecca has 15 years of experience with project management and implementation. Previously, she worked for Intellectual Medicine and New England Center for Pediatric Psychology in the areas of research project implementation and account management. She has a passion for pediatric mental health and relationship building.
