The MAP (full course)

PracticeWise, LLC, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. PracticeWise, LLC, maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

This course is designed to help you learn to recognize, understand, and apply The MAP.

Course Structure:
This course consists of three online learning modules that include instructional videos and progress questions. The learning modules are followed by a posttest and course evaluation. The MAP Process Guide is also included with the course. A continuing education certificate is available for download after successful completion of the course.

Learning Objectives:

1. Recognize The MAP as a framework to guide reasoning through a series of problem-solving processes that coordinate decisions, information resources, and actions.
2. Summarize the rationale behind The MAP to help decision-makers apply the best available knowledge to solve current clinical problems.
3. Illustrate how The MAP can be applied to guide clinical reasoning for a provider and inform service review for a supervisor.
