Monitoring (full course)

This course is designed to help you learn to recognize, understand, and apply the practice element Monitoring.

Course Structure:
This course consists of three online learning modules that include instructional videos and progress questions. The learning modules are followed by a posttest and course evaluation. The Monitoring practice guide is also included with the course. A continuing education certificate is available for download after successful completion of the course.

Learning Objectives:

1. Recognize Monitoring as a process of actively reviewing information over time and comparing it with a set of expectations.
2. Summarize the rationale behind Monitoring to raise provider awareness, provide insight into how treatment is going, and support involvement in treatment.
3. Illustrate how Monitoring can be used by individual providers and treatment teams to support engagement and inform service review.
