We are pleased to announce that the Spring 2024 updates to the PracticeWise Evidence-Based Services (PWEBS) Database are now available online. PWEBS has expanded once again from 1,662 to 1,750 papers (+88) and from 2,930 to 3,070 protocols (+140). Furthermore, with PWEBS+, we proudly offer 1,816 papers (+99), and 3,186 protocols (+160).
Here is a summary of the strength of evidence changes across the problem types in PWEBS:
Anxiety
- The Assessment/Monitoring treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- The Cognitive Training treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- The Parent Management Training treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- Cognitive Behavioral Psychoeducation and Medication was introduced as a treatment family and achieved No Support (Level 5).
Attention
- The Psychoeducation: Parent treatment family improved to Best Support (Level 1).
- The Biofeedback and Cognitive Training treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- The Contingency Management and Self Verbalization treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- The Mindfulness treatment family improved to Good Support (Level 2).
- Cooperative Problem Solving was introduced as a treatment family and achieved Minimal Support (Level 4).
- Mindfulness and Relaxation was introduced as a treatment family and achieved Minimal Support (Level 4).
- Attention and Psychoeducation: Parent was introduced as a treatment family and achieved No Support (Level 5).
- Cognitive Training and Electrical Stimulation was introduced as a treatment family and achieved No Support (Level 5).
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy was introduced as a treatment family and achieved No Support (Level 5).
- Dietary Care and Medication was introduced as a treatment family and achieved No Support (Level 5).
