Members of the PracticeWise Community,
The Spring 2015 updates to the PracticeWise information resources were recently published.
We have made some big and exciting changes to our Professional Development Program that we hope will help to significantly expand opportunities for learning the MAP system while reducing training costs.
In short, we have (a) introduced a new training role called the MAP Instructor and (b) formalized the manner in which our free online courses can help members achieve MAP Therapist status.
To help you learn more about the new Professional Development Program and portfolio updates, we have expanded information available on our website, posted some introductory videos, and added a free online MAP Instructor course. Please note that these new opportunities do not require existing programs to change your current MAP professional development strategies, and local jurisdictions may need some time to decide whether to support these new offerings.
Look under "
My Courses" to find out more about the MAP Instructor role as well as our ever-expanding collection of online courses.

Finally, each spring, we receive additional requests for MAP training. Therefore, we are planning to offer our MAP Direct Services series and MAP Supervision and Consultation series in late May or early June in the Los Angeles, CA area. If you are interested in procuring a training slot or hosting an event, please email your request to our support line at

Best wishes,
The PracticeWise Team
